At the Parsons Animal Rescue Foundation, we give abused and neglected horses a second chance through rehabilitation, training, and rehoming. In partnership with the Alberta SPCA and local rescues, we work to heal both visible and invisible scars while advocating for humane treatment of all equines.
Through our equine therapeutic programs, rescued horses become partners in healing, offering children and adults facing trauma a chance to rediscover trust, resilience, and connection. Horses once broken now teach presence and acceptance, transforming lives alongside their own.
Founded in honor of someone who embodied kindness and empathy, our work strives to end horse slaughter, provide dignity, and remind us all that a life lived for others is a life well lived.
