Red Feather Equine Sanctuary

Red Feather Equine Sanctuary is dedicated to providing lifelong sanctuary, rehabilitation, and compassionate care for equines who are aging, injured, neglected, behaviorally complex, or otherwise vulnerable. Based in North Carolina, our work extends beyond the sanctuary gates through humane education, equine-assisted learning, owner assistance, and advocacy aimed at preventing suffering and improving outcomes for horses nationwide.

Our programs emphasize individualized care, ethical horsemanship, and proactive intervention to keep horses safe and out of crisis. Donations directly support veterinary care, specialized nutrition, rehabilitation, daily animal care, and community programs that help us build a kinder world for horses.
