White Bird Appaloosa Horse Rescue

White Bird is dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of abused, neglected and at-risk Appaloosas and other horses, especially those in urgent need. Shelter, care, medical, training and rehabilitation services are provided to horses in need, and whenever possible, we adopt them to loving and permanent homes. Appaloosas often arrive blind or with vision impairment, so horses that cannot find loving homes are provided permanent sanctuary so that they may live the remainder of their lives in safety and dignity. The rescue horses are loved and cared for by unpaid volunteers who generously donate their time and talent. We welcome inquiries by potential adopters, donors, sponsors, volunteers and visitors. The Rescue is easily accessible for visitors and volunteers with disabilities.
