Founded in 1888, Ryerss Farm is the country’s oldest organization of its kind, dedicated to providing a comfortable retirement for horses that faithfully served their owners or who were rescued from abusive situations. Farm provides an wonderful facility where horses can live their golden years in comfort and dignity. Once a horse retires at Ryerss, he is never worked, never goes to auction and is never used for experimentation. He simply spends his days grazing contentedly with his friends in the green fields. The cost of food, shelter, medications, farrier and veterinary care all add up to a significant amount of money which we must raise every year. All donations are gratefully accepted.
