River’s Wish Animal Sanctuary

The mission of River’s Wish Animal Sanctuary is saving lives through rescue, education and advocacy. We provide refuge to animals through rescue, rehabilitation, adoption and lifelong sanctuary. We offer Sanctuary Based Education through our workshops of Art and Animals, Garden to Table and Compassionate Vegan Living. We schedule peaceful, nonintrusive guided sanctuary visits which emphasize the personalities and stories of our residents, thereby replacing any abstract notion of a species with that of an individual.

As House Rabbit Society educators, our primary adoption program is for rabbits. We assist our local animal protection agency with fostering rabbits, equines and farmed animals.

As an all volunteer organization donations are applied toward feed, veterinary care and necessities for the well-being of the animals.
