Pregnant Mare Rescue

The Pregnant Mare Rescue is specifically devoted to rescuing pregnant mares and orphaned foals from imminent slaughter. What began, as a project specifically rescuing mares and their unborn foals has become a mission of healing souls – both human and horse. Most horse rescues are located in small remote rural areas sometimes hours away, but we are purposely located in close proximity to the San Francisco Bay area and Silicon Valley. We feel that to visit is to see, to see is to experience, and this is where change for our equines begins. Our childrens programs host visitors from all over the west coast. All donations go to equine care unless otherwise specified.
