Horses & Heroes Inc.

Horses & Heroes Inc. (H&H), is a KS-based 501c3 organization that was created in 2014 by a former military spouse and mother of three service-connected children. Julie Baker brought her history of rescuing traumatized horses together with her deep respect and personal experiences with those who volunteer to serve. Julie states that traumatized horses need the same things as us to overcome challenging experiences: time, space, and safety; both emotionally and physically. H&H is uniquely positioned to offer a combination of healing service, outdoor spaces, and connections to others, in a non-judgment, confidential, and supportive environment. Our targeted population is military, first responders and their families.
