Gaited Advocate Intervention Team, Inc.

Gaited Advocate Intervention Team, Inc. (GAIT, Inc.) has been formed as a rescue for gaited horse breeds who are in danger of being shipped to slaughter, neglected or who need safe home that a responsible owner is no longer able to provide. GAIT, Inc. serves as both a direct rescue for horses as well as a resource for educating others on the care and training of the gaited breeds. We educate the public about the issues of slaughter and auction pipelines as well as how the gaited horse can be used successfully as pleasure and versatility mounts. GAIT, Inc. acts as consultants or as networking facilitators for owners and other rescues that may not have experience with the gaited breeds.
