Henry’s Home Horse and Human Sanctuary

Henry’s Home takes in rescued and donated horses and gives them a forever home and meaningful work in our Horses & Heroes Equine Program which offers EAGALA psychotherapy for our Houston area veterans and first responders and their families, at no cost to them. We are a 501c3 nonprofit run by all volunteers. Our horses, and other farm animals, are the therapists in these sessions and they take their jobs very serious. We have watched how time with them changes lives, brings families back together and helps heal broken souls. Our goal within the next year is to start an Equine Assisted Learning Program to help teach groups better communication skills, and an expanded EAGALA Therapy Program to help more humans heal through the horse.
